I write code the way I think, close to the metal, suspicious of that abstraction I haven't earned yet.

For me software is the craft where I can build the tools I build with!

I'm drawn to the parts of software most people are happy to treat as magic like compilers, kernels, the stuff underneath. Not just because it's impressive when u get to know it, but because I genuinely cannot leave a thing unexplained. It bothers me. I have a problem.

I am addicted to the feeling of bringing something to existence that never existed before .

I build in the open because closed work dies with your hard drive.

Most of what I make is unfinished (it's part of my nature I guess). I've made peace with that.

I love my terminal and nvim .

I dream of making projects, that lives, when I am gone.

what I believe

• Complexity is usually a failure of design, not a requirement of the problem.
• Open source is an act of faith in strangers.
• Write tool for yourselves, and sometimes they become the best ones for everyone too, like vim .
